"Hosta Heaven" - Fairy Book Tale
"My Story"

Once upon a time, Baby Prince Reece, Maiden Mom, & Maid Nana lived all together in a little white castle on Elm Street. True to title, the tiny little kingdom existed quietly, in cooling tones of shade, only isolated peninsulas basked in nourishing sunshine.

Maiden Mom & Maid Nana strived to grow vegetables & strawberries & festive flowering plants. Veggies did grow but lack-lustrously and blossoms drooped. Fall harvest lacked bounty.

Love of Shade Gardening soon planted roots deeply within the hearts of the pair, one new gardener, one more seasoned.

Shade tolerant hostas robustly proclaimed attention in the little backyard. Giant green specimens famously pronounced themselves, King! But wait, some hostas were so enchanting & emulating femininity, Queen of the garden was their most certain fame. The species had been cultivated by previous tenders of this land.

So the story grows. Soon Maiden Mom & Maid Nana experimentally planted new hostas, ferns, & other shade loving flora & fauna into their tiny kingdom. Great rewards bestowed abundant pleasures upon the pair.

Each, now tends shade garden kingdoms, adorning separated estates. Hostas, however, continue to proclaim fame as King & Queen of the gardens.

Prince Reece, no longer a babe, now lives life, with cousin, Princess Marlee Marie & her mom, Maiden Ruthann Marie, in three enchanting shade gardens. Natures wonders avail to be enjoyed by all wandering into these garden kingdoms. Birds and other wildlife visit & abide in these oasis of nature’s beautiful bounty.

Oh, such goodness grows in the perennial shade garden; children, peace, faith, hope, & love!
