This area keeps getting changed. It had a pine tree that Ron moved up to the front yard. Our favorite stump finally fell over. Ron made a bench but it was split so now it's a planter.

Japanese Iris & a tiny sedum live here too.

This is really a viewing deck for the pond & waterfalls area. The waterfalls are just beside it. The top pond is even with it & the bottom pond is several feet below it.

This was the last season for the log planter. It has rotted and is falling apart.

The one sure thing about gardening is "everything changes". What seemed so perfect one year just doesn't quite make it next.

Ron & I have all ready been talking about what we want to do here next year. I'm thinking a nice bench to sit on & enjoy the view of the waterfalls. That would mean no watering & no weeding required. But it's on Ron's side of the yard so the final decision will be his. (Maybe)
